Jonas Crowley

Jonas joined Green Timber’s staff as a seasonal employee in the spring of 2024 after graduating from Gogebic Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Forestry Technology. He was later hired as a full-time staff member in January 2025. Prior to Jonas’s work with Green Timber, he also worked an internship with Forest Carbon Works, where he increased his knowledge of performing different kinds of forest inventory practices. Since joining Green Timber, Jonas has gained more experience in timber inventory, in addition to timber harvest marking, and other carbon inventory techniques. Now as a full-time staff member, Jonas serves Green Timber as a hybrid employee, assisting with forestry projects out of our Pelkie office and our newly added Newberry office location.

A local of the Keweenaw Peninsula, Jonas grew up in Laurium and Ahmeek, MI.  During Jonas’s free time, he enjoys getting outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and engaging with the community.
