"I signed a contract with Green Timber to evaluate our 160-acre property and arrange for a timber sale. 70-80 acres were cut in the winter of 2018/19. Green Timber is a professional company who has a forester on the ground counting the lumber and ensuring that the logger follows the timber plan. Communication was outstanding from start to finish and I received more money than anticipated. The land looked rough after the initial cut, but by the fall of 2020, the forest is already back up 6-8ft. with deer everywhere. The deer had been on a severe decline prior to this due to lack of food, cover and heavy wolf-presence, but now we are seeing an abundance of deer and other wildlife. Green Timber is bonded and offers an extremely professional experience for customers complete with after-care. I know of two people who went with other companies and did not receive any money after their cut due to unprofessional/not-bonded practices. This is unfortunately more common than you would think, so the fee that Green Timber charges is a great insurance policy to guarantee you will receive your money with professional services. I would highly recommend Green Timber if you are looking for a timber plan for your property or to have your timber harvested."
